Noise remediation of cooling units on roof of telecom company
A data centre of one of the most important players on the telecom market in Belgium had several cooling units on the roof that were causing too much noise. The engineering firm Arcadis was called in to carry out noise measurements and issue an advisory report.

It was soon apparant that the current cooling production units (chillers) needed to be replaced and ISB Ventilation was called in for this.
However, due to the strict acoustic requirements, these new units also needed extra noise reducing measures, for which ISB Ventilation called in the expertise of DOX Noise Control & Alara-Lukagro. This resulted in a 35 dB(A) noise reduction of the chillers in relation to the surroundings.
