Aluminum sound barriers on the roof, Van der Valk Hotel
Van der Valk renovated the old swimming pool in Mechelen and transformed it into a first-class hotel. Possible noise nuisance due to the climate control techniques on the roof was also taken into account and our expertise was called upon.

Hotel Van der Valk in Mechelen called in DOX Noise Control to place industrial noise barriers around a cooling installation on the roof, thereby reducing the noise level. These noise barriers also provide a visual shielding of the cooling units from the hotel and its surroundings. The aluminum panels are painted according to the wishes of the client/design.
