Emergency power group acoustic enclosure
A custom-made lacquered acoustic enclosure was placed around an emergency power group, in outdoor installation, with the aim of absorbing the noise caused by the monthly tests and drastically reducing the nuisance to the environment.

The enclosure consists of separate panels, which are internally fastened by a screw connection. The acoustic panels are placed in U-shaped installation profiles. The panels comprise a 1.5 mm pre-galvanised sheet steel tray, anti-drumming 6.5 kg/m², enclosing an 80 mm thick mineral wool fill, covered with a fiberglass cloth, which is retained by 1.0 mm Sendzimir galvanised perforated steel sheets on the roof and a 1.0 mm Sendzimir galvanised steel sheet on the walls.
The outside sheet of wall and roof panels is provided with a double layer powdercoating in RAL. The ventilation ducts and splitters are not painted.
