Tailor-made enclosure for hydraulic test cabin at Bergerat Monnoyeur
In industrial processes, such as in the manufacturing industry, a lot of noise can be generated by machines and installations. Reducing the noise level of a machine considerably reduces (the contribution to) harmful noise for employees and bystanders.

At Bergerat Monnoyeur, noise pollution occurred in the hydraulic test cabin for Caterpillar engines. With the help of sturdy custom-made enclosures, the sound pressure level was lowered. This resulted in a reduction of no less than 35dBA and the machine noise went from 85dBA to 50dBA.
The casing is fitted with removable panels on all sides so that maintenance work on the hydraulic pump itself can be carried out practically. The customer chose a casing in the characteristic Caterpillar colour.
