Noise reduction of CNG stations
DATS 24, Colruyt Group's fuel supplier, is fully engaged in the construction of CNG stations (natural gas for vehicles) and has called in the expertise of DOX Noise Control. All CNG installations must be sound-technically corrected to minimize nuisance to the environment. DATS 24 will be rolled out in 2 design types: Standard design & Custom design.

RESULTS:
Source flow rates: Air outlet / inlet: 21,600 m³ / h ~ = ~ 98 dB sound power (Lw) = much too loud!
Theoretical calculation of the DOX dampers: at a distance of 15 m = 40 dB (A) Lp (= sound pressure)
Noise level (dB) is noticeably / drastically minimized, so that nuisance in relation to the environment appears to be minimal. Sound-wise, the new DATS 24 CNG stations, when equipped with the DOX solutions, are completely in order.
